Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Urban Office Computer Distributors, we aim to provide fast and reliable delivery across Kenya. This policy explains our delivery options, timelines, costs, and responsibilities. By placing an order on www.urbancomputers.co.ke, you agree to the terms below.
- Delivery Options & Timelines
- Personal Pickup (Nairobi Office)
Customers may collect their orders directly from our offices during working hours:- Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Within Nairobi (Cash on Delivery)
Cash on Delivery is available for deliveries within or near Nairobi CBD for orders placed before 4:00pm. - Outside Nairobi
- Delivery typically takes 1–2 business days.
- Orders must be paid in advance. Cash on Delivery is not available for areas outside Nairobi.
- Customers are required to collect items from the designated courier office in their town.
- Delivery Fees
- We charge a flat delivery rate of KES 500.
- Free Delivery for all orders above KES 250,000
- Rates may vary depending on order size, delivery method, or location.
- We reserve the right to update delivery fees at any time.
- Proof of Delivery
- A delivery note signed by the client, their representative, or nominated agent shall be treated as conclusive proof of delivery.
- Partial Deliveries
- We may, with the client’s consent, deliver goods in separate shipments or on different dates.
- Customers will be notified in advance if a split delivery is necessary.
- Use of Third-Party Couriers
- We may engage reputable third-party couriers to deliver goods. Customers will bear the applicable delivery costs.
- If a customer chooses their own courier service, Urban Office Computer Distributors shall not be liable for any issues arising from that arrangement.
- Special Delivery Requests
- If a client requests an alternative delivery method outside our standard service, they must make a written request.
- Additional costs from such arrangements will be borne by the client.
- Delivery Delays
- While we strive to meet estimated timelines, delivery dates are not guaranteed.
- We will not be liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather, courier delays).
- Orders may not be canceled solely due to reasonable delays.
- Inspection Upon Receipt
- Customers must inspect goods immediately upon receipt.
- Any discrepancies (damages, shortages, or wrong items) must be reported within two (2) business days.
- After this period, products will be considered accepted as delivered.
- Evaluation, Demo, or Consignment Goods
- Goods taken on evaluation, approval, demonstration, or consignment must be returned in perfect condition within 7 working days.
- If not returned within the agreed period, such items will be treated as sold.
