Warranty Information

At Urban Office Computer Distributors, we want you to shop with confidence. All products purchased from www.urbancomputers.co.ke are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable, as well as our own store warranty policy.

  1. Warranty Coverage
  • Most products come with a 12-month limited warranty unless otherwise stated.
  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal use.
  • Software, consumables (e.g., ink, toner, batteries), and accessories may have shorter warranty periods as specified by the manufacturer.
  • Refurbished products are covered under a 6-month warranty, unless stated differently at purchase.
  1. What is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper installation.
  • Electrical surges, power fluctuations, or liquid damage.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear such as scratches, fading, or battery life reduction.
  • Software issues, viruses, or data loss.
  1. Warranty Claim Process

If you experience a problem covered by warranty:

  1. Contact us at sales@urbancomputers.co.ke or +254 111 225 799 with your order number and proof of purchase.
  2. Our support team will assess the issue and may guide you through troubleshooting.
  3. If a return is required, the product must be sent back in its original packaging with all accessories.
  4. Once inspected, we will either repair, replace, or refund the item in line with the warranty terms.
  1. Warranty Limitations
  • Warranty services are provided at our discretion and may involve repair, replacement with an equivalent product, or refund.
  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
  • Customers are responsible for delivering items to our service center unless otherwise agreed.
  1. Legal Rights

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Kenya). It does not limit or exclude any legal rights you may have.
